Demographics – Who Participated
The survey was sent to 70 members (Foundation Voting Members and Associate Members) and 22 members responded, for a 31 percent response rate. The demographics of those responding went this way: 46 percent Redin Queens, 32 percent Weese/Wilson/Estes Queens, and 22 percent non players but members.
Looking Forward – What’s Ahead
As with most surveys, thought is being given to continuing the member survey process as membership grows. It is important to understand HFQF members’ perspectives in planning for the future of the Foundation.
The landscape of college athletics, at all levels, is shifting in new directions. If there ever was a time for the Hutcherson Flying Queens Foundation to play an increasing role in building endowment support for the current Flying Queens program and for the Flying Queens Museum, that time is now!
But the Foundation also continues to seek on-going support for the current Flying Queens team through attending games in one’s area, Foundation membership, and service as a Board member or officer.
Whether through your talent, time, or treasure, let’s help keep the Flying Queens legacy alive!
