Player’s stories shared the history and emotion that the Hutcherson Flying Queens afforded women who wanted to play college basketball from the 1940s to the present day. For all the statistics and numbers found in facts and figures, only a player’s story offers the heartbeat that brings the Flying Queens basketball program to life.
In 2025, the Foundation seeks to gather 10 to 12 more player’s stories to further enrich this women’s sports legacy. And unlike the past, now the committee working with the former player on her story will have access to AI to help shape the individual’s story.
