The Fundraising Committee’s mission is simple: raise money to support the Foundation’s work—fueling the Flying Queens program, preserving its incredible legacy, and ensuring lasting financial support for the future.
What We Do
We dream up and drive fundraising campaigns and grant efforts that keep the Foundation strong. The committee also helps the Board plan fun, meaningful social activities that connect members during HFQF meetings and special events.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re after creative, can-do people who believe in the cause and aren’t afraid to ask for support. Whether it’s finding sponsors, gathering prizes, selling tickets, or organizing auctions—our members get it done with energy and heart!
If you’ve got a knack for planning events or love rallying people around a great cause, you’ll fit right in.
Time Commitment
Our biggest annual event—the Foundation’s Golf Tournament—takes a few months of teamwork to organize, and it’s a highlight of the year. Other fundraisers are smaller and more flexible, often coming together in just a few weeks with good planning and persistence.
