The 2021 Hutcherson Flying Queens Foundation Golf Tournament, scheduled for Oct. 25 at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock, has been postponed until Spring 2022.
“The increase in COVID-19 Delta variant cases in Lubbock and across the state has created a concern among our committee and several board members,” said Kathy Booth Loter, 2nd VP for fundraising and social activities, and chair of the golf tournament committee. “Without a clear idea as to the severity or duration of this outbreak, we reached the conclusion that for the safety of all involved, we needed to move the tournament to Spring 2022. We are hopeful that activities and gatherings will have returned to normal by that time.”
The committee will continue to work on logistics for the tournament and plans to send information about the Spring 2022 tournament in early 2022.
