The Tournament

Since the Hutcherson Flying Queens Foundation began in 2012, its members have raised funds to support the nationally ranked Wayland Baptist Flying Queens women’s basketball team.

Sponsorships are available at the platinum ($3,000), gold ($2,500), and silver ($2,000) levels as well as numerous tournament goods and services sponsorships.

This year the tournament is offering 7 contests. Six happen during tournament play: 4 Closest to the Hole contests and 2 Longest Drive contests. Click on the specific contest below for more information about prizes.

Especially exciting is the tournament raffle – open to anyone attending the tournament. In addition to several golf-related prizes, the grand prize is a 7-night Resort Stay for Two!

Event open to golfers and non-golfers – an informal reunion!

The weekend also provides a great opportunity for teammates to get together and reminisce about our time as Queens. Former Flying Queen players who don’t play golf are encouraged to arrive early to spend time with friends, volunteer at the golf tournament and attend the post-tournament luncheon.

4 Closest To The Pin Contests – Men’s and Women’s

The contests take place on the 4 – par 3 holes on the course (holes #3, 8, 10, 14)
