The undefeated Wayland Baptist Flying Queens fell from second to third in the NAIA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
The Flying Queens (4-0) had been ranked No. 2 in both the preseason and first regular-season polls.
Campbellsville (Ky.) (7-0) is the new No. 1 in the second edition of the Top 25, taking over the top spot from Westmont (Calif.), which dropped its only official game this season to NCAA Division I Pepperdine, 68-56.
The only other Sooner Athletic Conference team in the poll is Oklahoma City University, which remained No. 5. The Stars have yet to play a game this season.
The Flying Queens are next in action at 6 p.m. Thursday against Southwestern Christian in what will be their first home game of the season. A limited number of fans are being allowed inside Hutcherson Center on a first-come, first-served basis. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times on the WBU campus and social distancing also is mandatory.

The Queens were scheduled to play their next four games at home, but two of those contests – against OCU on Saturday and John Brown University on Jan. 23 – have been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.
