The undefeated Wayland Baptist Flying Queens moved up on spot to No. 2 in the latest NAIA Women’s Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll.

Wayland was ranked second behind Westmont (Calif.) in both the preseason poll and the first poll of the regular-season. The Flying Queens slipped to No. 3 behind new No. 1 Campbellsville (Ky.) and Westmont in the Jan. 13 poll.

Now the Queens (6-0) are back in the No. 2 slot, in between Campbellsville (9-0) and Westmont (1-1).

Also in the Sooner Athletic Conference, Oklahoma City (1-0) is ranked No. 5, down two places since the last ranking. Mid-America Christian received Top 25 votes and is the equivalent of 31st.

The Flying Queens are in Kansas today to take on Central Christian at 6 p.m., before the Pioneers meet the Tigers at 8.
