Plainview, Texas – Freshman Bobbie Fouquet has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Ford Dealers Player of the Week for the week that ended January 7th, 2024. Fouquet helped lead the Flying Queens to a 2-1 record over the three games that qualified for this weekly award.
Fouquet led the Flying Queens averaging 15.7 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game during the three games.
When the Queens traveled to play Our Lady of the Lake University on December 29th, Fouquet went for 13 points and 3 rebounds.
She continued her strong week at the University of Sciences and Arts of Oklahoma where she went for 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.
She capped off her great week by leading the Queens to a strong road victory at Texas Wesleyan University where she went for 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4-8 from three-point range.
Fouquet and the Queens will look to build on a strong week when they host Southwestern Assemblies of God University and the University of North Texas at Dallas this Thursday and Saturday at the Hutch.
