The Hutcherson Flying Queens Golf Tournament is back after a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Benefitting the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens women’s basketball program
Since the Hutcherson Flying Queens Foundation began in 2012, its members have raised funds to support the nationally ranked Wayland Baptist Flying Queens women’s basketball team. The Foundation’s golf tournament has played a prominent role in raising annual funds for this effort.
Sponsorships are available for hole sponsors ($100) and at the gold,($750) platinum ($1,000), and tournament sponsor ($5,000)levels.
Event open to golfers and non-golfers – an informal reunion!
The weekend also provides a great opportunity for teammates to get together and reminisce about our time as Queens. Former Flying Queen players who don’t play golf are encouraged to arrive early to spend time with friends, volunteer at the golf tournament and attend the post-tournament luncheon.
A block of rooms have been reserved at the Aloft Dallas Arlington Entertainment District for three nights, Oct. 30, 31, and Nov. 1.
On Sunday evening, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m., the Wayland Baptist University Office of Alumni Relations is hosting an evening gathering for area Wayland alumni at Saltgrass Steakhouse located right down the street from the Aloft. More information about Sunday evening is coming soon.
