The 2023 Hutcherson Flying Queens Golf Tournament is moving to an earlier date – Aug. 28 from Oct. 31 while still teeing off at the Texas Star Golf Course in Euless, Texas.
Since the Hutcherson Flying Queens Foundation began in 2012, members have raised funds to support the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens women’s basketball team. The Foundation’s golf tournament has played a prominent role in raising annual funds for this effort.
The registration fee is $100 per golfer, and sponsorships are available for hole sponsors ($100) and at the silver ($500), gold ($750), and platinum ($1,000) levels.
EVENT OPEN TO GOLFERS AND NON-GOLFERS – AN INFORMAL REUNION!
The weekend also provides a great opportunity for teammates to get together and reminisce about their time as Queens. Former players who don’t play golf are encouraged to arrive early to spend time with friends, volunteer at the golf tournament and attend the post-tournament luncheon.
