This morning Wayland Baptist University Board of Trustee member Mark Jones introduced Dr. Donna Hedgepath as the president-elect of the university. She will succeed Dr. Bobby Hall and will begin her tenure as president on July 1, 2024.

Hedgepath holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Kentucky and comes to Wayland from Campbellsville University in Kentucky, where she serves as provost and vice president of academic affairs. Her appointment was unanimously approved by Wayland’s Board of Trustees after an extensive presidential search, and she will begin her new role July 1.
